“She transforms her own dark into her own light. She sees her private shadows – and loves them. She meets her emotional depths – and owns it. She faces her private fears of separations – and rises above the illusion. She is the source of her Self and she is always in a state of greater becoming.”
~ Molly McCord, The Modern Heroine’s Journey of Consciousness
HOLISTIC HEALING AND EMPOWERMENT
Wings of Destiny, is an organisation dedicated to empowering women after domestic violence and helping those in need.
With the dedication of our Board of Directors, members, volunteers, staff, sponsors and international ambassadors around the globe; we strive to not only improve the lives of families who have experienced domestic violence but to also create a movement of people who are smashing through the barriers of the status quo and victim mentality and becoming truly empowered and healed.
Our programs are focused on the holistic approach. We believe that empowerment is not simply about changing one's mindset. It is a combination of both healing the MIND, BODY, SOUL and SPIRIT.
In order to truly find successful results moving forward after trauma, we must allow the whole of our being heal from the experience.
Trauma is not only felt from a physical, emotional and audible level. Research has proven that we hold our trauma and our memories in certain parts of our bodies. In our organs, muscles and ultimately our cells.
In order to truly find healing and empowerment after significant trauma such as DV, we must allow our bodies holistic ways in which to heal itself and release the past abuse.
Contact us to see how you can be part of this global holistic empowerment movement.
"Healing doesn't mean that the damage never existed.
It means the damage no longer controls our lives"

After experiencing DV in all my relationships on all levels I have suffered for way too long and it was not until I read Destined to be Me book that I had my first hope and tools to break free from unhealthy relationships that were not giving me what I deserved. After completing the three part Destined to be ME program and then signing up to the POWERHOUSE Mentorship program, I felt a freedom that I had not known about with Women. To feel safe to express, to BE and not to be judged, I was empowered. I am fully in control of my life on ALL LEVELS.
I cannot speak highly enough of this programme. Kate is a marvel! I was looking for something positive to help me stop thinking about my abuser and what he would do to me next, and start thinking about what *I* was going to do next! Well, this is it!
